Friendship

I’ve spent the last 10 hours or so, thinking about something that was bothering me. After a fair few months, I finally took action. A friendship has been on the rocks for some time, and one of us had to take that first step.

I am petrified of confrontation, but this person has been in my life for a long time, has had my back, and I’ve had theirs. We’ve shared up and down, laughter and tears, and  many private thoughts.

I’m so glad I bit the bullet and reached out. If someone, or something means that much, take action.

Laundry Day with a smile

Kitten sighed, typical, she took a day off to relax, and what happened? Her machine broke down, and she’d had to head across town to do her laundry. She shoved her washing in the machine, climbed up and sat on top of it, giggling to herself, the trip wasn’t a total loss, there really is nothing like the vibrations from a laundromat machine!
