Kitten was so sick of winter. After the festivities of Christmas and New Year are over, she just wants summer, warmth, sunshine!

She leaned on the fence, catching her breath after chasing her dog Ralph through the field. She watched him, the wind catching the earth as he dug, her blown hair mixing with the fallen leaves which had turn golden and were now dancing in the gusts.
I don’t know about you, but for me, it doesn’t matter what the weather is like, rain, hail, snow, or wind, when I have a sugar craving, I’ll be out in it, and usually without a jacket or umbrella, to find that sweet treat.
These hot, sticky nights were driving Kitten crazy. Throwing her sheet aside, she grabbed her robe and slipped into her shoes, as she headed for the front door. As it opened, a breeze whipped through her hair, smiling, she loosened the belt on her robe, exposing her hot skin. She crept down the garden, sitting under the tree by the river, the night air cooling the burn that had kept her awake for hours.
