These hot, sticky nights were driving Kitten crazy. Throwing her sheet aside, she grabbed her robe and slipped into her shoes, as she headed for the front door. As it opened, a breeze whipped through her hair, smiling, she loosened the belt on her robe, exposing her hot skin. She crept down the garden, sitting under the tree by the river, the night air cooling the burn that had kept her awake for hours.

Kitten was never able to function before she’d had her first coffee of the day. She poured herself a fresh, steaming mug, and relaxed into her favourite chair. Lit by the morning sunlight, she drank her coffee and watched her new puppy, Chewy, as he slept, before she had to get ready for the day ahead.

Kitten decided that a relaxing day by the pool was what she needed on her day off. She picked up her journal and her purse, and headed for her favourite place. A little vitamin D before she finished off her boring work week, keeping her eye on the toned bodies lounging in and around the pool, water glistening on the bronzed flesh. Mmmm, time for a dip.
